I'm a freelance cinematographer, camera operator and filmmaker. While Edinburgh in Scotland is my home, I'm a confident traveller and I shoot all over the world.

 

I work with production companies, agencies and even direct clients. I love collaborating with likeminded people, and I'm happy to be leant on by directors, producers and creatives to execute ideas both technically and beautifully.

I specialise in documentary, commercial and branded content projects and I have told the stories of people and brands all over the world.​​
 
I shoot predominantly with my Sony FX6, Sony FX3 and DJI Mini 4 Pro camera kit. I have an extensive kit list that enables me to tackle almost every situation at last minute notice - my full kit list is itemised on a 12 month carnet, allowing me to export and re-import the whole lot.

I'm experienced at working on both small and large scale productions and I'm at my best when I have a camera in my hand, composing shots and constructing the look and feel of a scene. I'm typically hired me for my versatility expertise in making creative lighting and lens choices to then go on and frame shots and craft camera movement.

While my main skills lie in cinematography and camera operating, I am also an experienced editor and I am familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere and After Effects.
